Need help with bzz.nu? This page lists every way to reach us, and sets clear expectations about how quickly you can expect an answer.

1. General Support

If you have a question about using bzz.nu — how to create a short link, how to customise your micro site, why a specific click count looks off — email us at [protected email].

Response time: we aim to reply within 2 business days during the public preview period (09:00 – 18:00 CET/CEST, Monday to Friday, excluding Dutch public holidays).

When emailing us, please include:

  • The email address on your bzz.nu account (so we can find you).
  • The short link slug(s) or micro-site slug(s) involved.
  • A description of what you expected and what actually happened.
  • Screenshots, if they help.

2. Security Issues

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in bzz.nu, please email [protected email]. We take security reports seriously and we will not take legal action against researchers who act in good faith.

Response time: we acknowledge security reports within 1 business day.

Responsible disclosure guidelines

  • Do not access, modify, or delete data that is not your own.
  • Do not perform denial-of-service or social-engineering attacks.
  • Give us a reasonable time to remediate before publishing details (typically 90 days).
  • Provide enough detail for us to reproduce the issue (URL, steps, screenshots, proof-of-concept).

We do not currently run a formal bug-bounty program, but we are grateful for reports and will credit researchers (with their permission) in an acknowledgements list once the service leaves preview.

3. Privacy & Data Requests

For anything related to your personal data — access requests, deletion requests, data exports, questions about how we process your data — email [protected email].

Response time: one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR. Simple requests are usually handled within a few business days.

4. Abuse & Content Reports

To report a short link or micro site that points to illegal content, phishing, malware, or other violations of our Acceptable Use Policy, email [protected email].

Response time: acknowledgement within 48 hours; decision on clear-cut cases within 7 days. See our Notice and Takedown page for the full procedure.

5. Status Page

Planned location: status.bzz.nu — coming soon. Until the dedicated status page is live, incident updates will be communicated by email to affected users and posted on the Junovy status page linked from the footer.
