Junovy is not subject to sector-specific professional supervision; we are a general commercial business. Our activities are governed by Dutch commercial law and relevant EU regulations including the GDPR and the Digital Services Act. The competent consumer-protection authority in the Netherlands is the Autoriteit Consument & Markt (acm.nl).

6. Data Protection Authority

7. Online Dispute Resolution

The name “bzz.nu” and the Junovy honeycomb brand marks are unregistered trademarks of Junovy. Open-source components used in building bzz.nu retain their respective licences.

9. Liability for Content

As operator of bzz.nu, we are responsible for our own content on this site under the Dutch implementation of Directive 2000/31/EC (Burgerlijk Wetboek, Boek 3 artikelen 15d–15f and Boek 6 artikelen 196c–196e), together with the applicable provisions of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). We are not, however, obliged to monitor user-submitted short links or micro-site content for illegality on our own initiative. Upon becoming aware of a specific legal infringement we will remove the content in question promptly (see our Notice and Takedown procedure).

10. Liability for Links

bzz.nu is by its nature a service that forwards visitors to third-party websites. We have no control over the content of destination URLs. At the time a short link is created we have no indication of legal violations.
